The Acton Rangers were able to start their 2023 Season on Sunday, April 2nd. We had a total of 45 riders to kick off the season. It was wonderful to see our returning competitors as well as meeting new competitors for the season. Entry fees for the 2023 Acton Ranges’ Gymkhana are $7.00 per rider per class, or $40 for all six classes, and novice competitors (12 and under) are only $4.00 per rider per class, $20 for all six classes.
The horses were ready to go this month, and as was evident by some of the horses, they were excited to be back in the competition at the Vincent Hill Arena. By the looks of the results, we are going to have another year of exciting competition in many of the divisions this year. If you missed the first gymkhana, you will not want to miss the next one, as everyone has a chance to win a saddle or buckle.
Don’t forget, that The Acton Community Center will be hosting its annual Duckie Drop during our May Gymkhana. Tickets are limited and will be available at the April Gymkhana. Don’t miss your chance to have the winning duck to claim your prize!!!!!
We are expecting another sunny day for our Labor Day Gymkhana on Sunday, May 7th. As a reminder, our gymkhanas are on the 1st Sunday of the month from March to October, and the awards ceremony will be held at 9 am, on Sunday, November 5th at the Acton Community Center.
