The Acton Rangers are excited to announce the start of their 2023 Gymkhana Season on Sunday, March 5th at 9:00 am, with sign-ups starting at 8:00 am. The Gymkhanas will be held at the Vincent Hill Arena located at 560 W. Sierra Highway in Acton.
The 2023 season will have two year-end high point divisions, the Saddle Series division (open to all ages) and the Buckle Series division (open to participants that are 18 years or older). All Classes are $7.00 each ($40 for all 6 events) for AAA, AA, and A riders. Novice classes (12 and under) are $4.00 each ($20.00 for all 6 events).
Each gymkhana will consist of 6 events, Washington Poles, Quadrangle Poles, Cloverleaf, Single Barrel, Precision Barrel, and Keyhole. Please note, that for this season, we will be running the Cloverleaf barrels right after Quadrangle Poles and prior to single barrel. As a side note, Saddle Series Day ribbons are awarded to 5th place all divisions (AAA, AA, A, and Novice).
The 2023 Acton Gymkhanas will be held on the first Sunday of each month March through October. The year-end awards will be held on Sunday, November 5th. Refreshments will be available throughout the day for your convenience.
Mark your calendars for the annual Acton Community Center Duckie Drop fundraiser, which will be held during our May 7th Gymkhana. There will be wonderful prizes for those with the winning ducks!!!
