The Acton Rangers have completed their third gymkhana of the year on Sunday, July 3rd. The weather was warm with a slight breeze for the 68 riders competing. There were many good runs and we have seen lots of improvement amongst the riders since our first Gymkhana. Keep up the hard work, as it shows!!! Congratulations to Julianna Stubbs, Samantha McKeehan and Kai Tomas for promoting from the Novice division to the A division. Emma Clegg and Rachel Blaha promoted to the AA division. Destiny Wessells was also promoted into the AAA division. With 3 gymkhanas left to go, it looks like it will be another year of exciting competition. We have some close races in both the saddle series and buckle series.
Entry fees for the 2022 Acton Ranger’s Gymkhana are $6.00 per rider per class, however, novice competitors (12 and under) are only $3.00 per rider per class.
We are expecting a very warm and sunny day for our August 7th Gymkhana, as we in the final stretch with just 3 more gymkhanas this season. As a reminder, our gymkhanas are on the 1st Sunday of the month from March to October, and the awards ceremony will be held on Sunday, November 6th at the Acton Community Center. We are also planning on doing a trail ride following the awards ceremony which we will stage out of the Acton Arena.
It was great to see many of our friends at the Acton 4th of July Parade. The Rangers had lots of fun!
All us Rangers look forward to seeing you at our next Gymkhana on Sunday, August 7th, at the Vincent Hill Arena.
Remember, Ride hard, shoot straight, and always tell the truth!!
