The Acton Rangers have completed their third gymkhana of the year on Sunday, June 5th. The weather was warm with a slight breeze for the 62 riders competing. There were many good runs and we have seen lots of improvement amongst the riders since our first Gymkhana. Keep up the hard work, as it shows!!! Congratulations to Melissa Duenas, Ellie Harmon, and Cassidy Olsen for promoting from the Novice division to the A division. With 4 gymkhanas left to go, it looks like it will be another year of exciting competition. We have some close races in both the saddle series and buckle series.
Entry fees for the 2022 Acton Ranges’ Gymkhana are $6.00 per rider per class, however, novice competitors (12 and under) are only $3.00 per rider per class.
We are expecting a very warm and sunny day for our July 3rd Gymkhana, as we have 4 more gymkhanas this season, and it is early enough for everyone to have a chance for the saddles and buckles. As a reminder, our gymkhanas are on the 1st Sunday of the month from March to October, and the awards ceremony will be held on Sunday, November 6th at the Acton Community Center.
On Monday, July 4th, the day after the Gymkhana, don’t miss out on the annual Acton 4th of July Parade. As always it should be loads of fun!! The Acton Rangers will be participating and look forward to seeing all of our friends in the community!
All us Rangers look forward to seeing you at our next Gymkhana on Sunday, July 3rd at the Vincent Hill Arena.
Remember, Ride hard, shoot straight, and always tell the truth!!
